Advice and support groups:
The SEND Local Offer
Local authorities in England must publish information about the provision they expect to be available in their area for children and young people from 0 to 25 who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This is called the Local Offer.
The Local Offer for SEND provides information about provision families can expect to be available across education, health and social care for children and young people who have Special Educational Need (SEN) or are disabled (D), including those who do not have Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans. This provision is used for SEN Support in School, otherwise referred to as the 'Graduated response' or support that is 'ordinarily available'.
